Market System Resilience

From September 2020 to April 2021 I volunteered as a part-time remote intern with iDE. I completed a literature review of market system resilience measurement frameworks which was included as part of a USAID milestone deliverable. My original version is included below. The review was also adapted and included in the recent paper, “The Market Systems Resilience Index: A Multi-Dimensional Tool for Development Practitioners to Assess Resilience at Multiple Levels” published in Sustainability.

I also cleaned and scored data from applications of the MSRI tool in Mozambique and Nepal. I built an automated scoring tool with R and google sheets to streamline the process for future applications of the tool.
